Rogers PTA’s biggest fundraiser of the year, the Mustang Drive, is kicking off
Thursday, January 26 with fun-filled assemblies! The Mustang Drive supports many
critical Rogers programs that benefit our great students and amazing teachers and staff.
Prior years’ Mustang Drives supported this year’s WEB program, enrichment programs
such as BrainPop, field trips such as PALI, student clubs and activities, PE and lunch
activity supplies, the student wellness center, 8th grade end-of-year activities, and
special projects such as the new gymnasium scoreboard.
What is our goal? Our goal is to raise $50,000 to ensure that these field trips, student
programs and enrichment, teacher wish lists and other important programs and
activities continue to be funded. Rogers PTA will also continue to fund the WEB
program, which creates a positive, caring school culture by empowering our 8th graders
to support our 6th and 7th graders at school.
Watch your student’s backpacks! On January 26th, Students will take home a pledge
envelope, instructions on how to sign up for PledgeStar, our Mustang
Drive online fundraising portal, information about the great prizes and incentives our
Rogers students can win, and more!
Fundraising takes place from January 26th to March 2nd and culminates in a
celebration for the whole school on March 3rd. Using fun incentives like treats and
great prizes, the Mustang Drive encourages students to raise money and help their
school. Students raise money via PledgeStar or direct donations and can earn rewards.
Treats and prizes are awarded based on fundraising efforts, such as sending emails or
texts via PledgeStar, as well on dollars raised. Golden Tickets will be awarded to
students who raise $75 or more. In addition, classes that raise the most collectively will
earn special rewards.
Mustang Drive timeline:
- January 26: Kick-off Assembly – pledge packets go home.
- February 2: Register for PledgeStar and send out 5 emails/texts (reward
delivered February 3). - By February 9, 16 & 23: Send out 5 more emails/texts each week (rewards
delivered Fridays). - March 2: Pledge sheets due; last day for monies raised to earn Golden Tickets
for drawings. - March 3: Mustang Drive Celebration Day – everyone participates during their PE
class
How can you help?
- Sign up at https://pledgestar.com/rogers/ and add family and friends to send
donation requests by email or text. - Post a donation request on social media, using the option on PledgeStar.
- Solicit direct donations via the pledge envelopes.
- Consider purchasing a family or corporate sponsorship for the Mustang Drive t-
shirts at https://rogers-middle-school-pta.square.site/. - If every Rogers student raises $75 or more we will meet our goal!
