PTA is back this week with more updates that hopefully help you to prepare for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year. Remember the First Day of School is NEXT WEEK, TUESDAY, AUGUST 31, 2021!
Rogers PTA Membership Drive is NOW thru OCTOBER 30th! A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out during TCB this past week and purchased sweatshirts, PE Uniforms, and/or renewed their PTA Membership! We see and appreciate you! 🙂
As mentioned at TCB, PTA is able to offer a few incentives for joining PTA during our Membership Drive this year!
JOIN PTA BY OCTOBER 30, 2021 and Receive Great Incentives!
- Any student who joins Rogers PTA or returns any PTA membership(s) will receive one (1) entry into a dedicated opportunity drawing for a $50 gift card to a major retailer (Amazon, Target etc. – more info coming soon!). One entry limit per student
- Any student who joins/returns (4) or more memberships will receive one (1) entry into a dedicated opportunity drawing for a “front of the line” pass good for the cafeteria lunch lines daily AND all Rogers student activity days for the entire 2021-2022 school year! One entry limit per student
- Any 8th Grade student who joins Rogers PTA or returns any PTA membership(s), will receive one (1) entry into a dedicated opportunity drawing for four (4) reserved front row seats at 8th Grade Promotion. One entry limit per student

Our goal for membership is one membership per student. Rogers currently has an enrollment of around 850 students. The count as of August 26th after TCB shows that Rogers PTA has enrolled 283 total members! This includes 85 online members via TOTEM, PTA’s online membership portal. We are currently at about 1/3 of our goal. We are doing great – in fact, we have already surpassed our 2020-21 membership count! – but we have some more work to do!
Please remember that memberships must be renewed each year while at Rogers. Memberships are $10/member (new or renewal). Donations to Rogers PTA are also accepted throughout the year.

Miss Out on Sweatshirt and PE Uniform Sales? PTA will be back on campus periodically to sell clothes at the start of the school year. Please check back here for more details as they become available. PTA Reflections For our artistically inclined Mustangs who are feeling inspired, please consider participating in the 2021-2022 National PTA Reflections Art Program!
This year’s theme is “I Will Change the World By…” Our faculty liaison for Reflections 2021-22 will be Ms. Clare again (thanks, Ms. Clare!). More details to come from Rogers and PTA directly this fall after students return to campus, but in the meantime please go to our dedicated Reflections page for more info and this year’s eligible categories! Notice Anything New? If you are driving or walking along the top of the bluff near the Nieto Ave./Vista St. entrance, you may have noticed something to go with the previously posted “Mustang” sign… yep, our “Rogers” cups-in-fence sign has arrived and is proudly displayed thanks to the help of some family volunteers who spent several hours to get this up during TCB earlier this week! PTA appreciates your help in making Rogers a welcoming place to be! 🙂

Rogers Dining for Dollars IS BACK FOR 2021-2022! Do you have a favorite local restaurant you want to see included in our Dining for Dollars program outreach? Typically in past years, Rogers PTA has offered an event once-monthly from September-June. Rogers Store is Online! The Rogers Middle School Store has gone online and will be reopening very soon! Once opened, take a look at the Mustangs swag being offered, including uniform-approved spirit-wear. Rogers School Store

The Rogers motto is Alive with Mustang Pride. The colors are red and black and our school mascot is the Mustang. All students are expected to dress in a professional manner.
