Horsey Horseshoe Helps Promote Mustang Drive!

On Tuesday, November 5th, local Long Beach social media influencer Horsey Horseshoe (@thizzhorsey on Instagram) was a special guest at Rogers, paying students a visit to help PTA hand out frozen fruit bars during lunchtime!

This event was the first in a series of prize and other incentives being offered to students for sending PledgeStar emails and otherwise meeting goals during this year’s Mustang Drive fundraiser throughout the month of November!

The next incentive deadline is THIS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 10TH. Students recorded as having sent 10+ emails via the PledgeStar portal will be treated to a free donut during Advisory period on Tuesday, November 12th!

MUSTANG DRIVE IS ON NOW!

The 2019 Mustang Drive – Rogers PTA’s largest fundraiser of the year – kicked off on Friday, 11/1. Students were treated to grade-level assemblies where they learned about incentives coming up for the month-long event. All students also were given a fundraising packet in advisory last week, which included information about the event and related incentives (including the red flier posted above).

Please be aware that PTA’s goal is to raise $60,000 during the drive throughout the month of November. If this goal is met, we will be better positioned to keep in place many of the wonderful programs that our teachers, students, and families have grown accustomed to, such as: Field Trips, Additional Supervision on Campus, WEB, and other school-wide curriculum enhancements.

Meal with a Mustang | TOMORROW, FRI. 10/18!

The first Meal with a Mustang lunchtime event is TOMORROW – Friday, October 18, 1:07-1:42 p.m. During this time, parents and guardians are invited to bring a packed picnic lunch to join their student(s) on the front lawn of the school (365 Monrovia Ave.). Students who returned their required permission slips for this event will receive their participation wristbands tomorrow before lunchtime. More Information
