Rogers PTA Membership Drive is NOW thru OCTOBER 31st! A HUGE thank you to everyone who has joined or renewed your membership and/or purchased sweatshirts or PE uniforms with the PTA so far this year. Your support falls right in line with this year’s theme of “Connecting Families and Schools”… THANK YOU!

Halfway Mark of our Membership Drive TODAY! As a mid-drive follow-up, all students should have received a red flier and envelope from the PTA earlier this week. Please review this flier to learn more about PTA and what it does for ALL of our students and school! If you still have yet to become a member, now’s your chance! Or, maybe you have already joined but want to pass the flier onto a family member, neighbor, friend, or other Rogers fan… that’s great… all are welcome! Just fill out the envelope provided and submit $10/ea membership, cash or check (made out to “Rogers PTA”), or you can easily join PTA online now here with credit/debit card via Square.

PTA is able to offer a few incentives for joining PTA during our Membership Drive this year!

JOIN PTA BY OCTOBER 31, 2021 and Receive Great Incentives!

Any student who becomes a member (or returns a membership) will be entered into a drawing for a $50 AMC gift card. One entry limit per student
Any student who returns four (4) or more memberships will be entered into a drawing for a “Front of the Line” pass to be used at lunch AND all Rogers student activity days for the entire 2021-2022 school year! One entry limit per student
Any 8th Grade student who becomes a member (or returns a membership) will be entered into a drawing for 4 reserved front-row seats at 8th Grade Promotion! One entry limit per student
The 1st Period class with the highest percentage of memberships will receive an in-class party!
PTA thrives on several business partnerships that offer member discounts and benefits, including Hertz, Farm Fresh to You and Tick Talk. Go to http://www.capta.org for more information.

PTA’s goal for membership is one membership per student. Rogers currently has an enrollment of around 800 students. The count as of September 30th shows that Rogers PTA has signed up 467 total members! This includes 233 (half of the total) who have joined or renewed online via TOTEM, PTA’s online membership portal. We are currently almost 60 percent of the way to our drive’s goal at the halfway point! We are doing GREAT – in fact, we have already DOUBLED our 2020-21 membership count! – but we have some more work to do!

Please remember that memberships must be renewed each year while at Rogers. Memberships are $10/member (new or renewal). Donations to Rogers PTA are also accepted throughout the year.

PTA STORE IS NOW LIVE ONLINE! Miss out on Sweatshirt and PE Uniform sales days? PTA has reordered and is restocked and IS NOW ONLINE for convenient purchasing anytime day or night! We have sweatshirts (both overhead and zip-up) and PE T-shirts and shorts restocked and available for purchase online with credit/debit card via square, with delivery from 1-2 weeks of purchase directly to your child’s 3rd period classroom!

PTA is able to offer a few incentives for joining PTA during our Membership Drive this year!

JOIN PTA BY OCTOBER 31, 2021 and Receive Great Incentives!

Any student who becomes a member (or returns a membership) will be entered into a drawing for a $50 AMC gift card. One entry limit per student
Any student who returns four (4) or more memberships will be entered into a drawing for a “Front of the Line” pass to be used at lunch AND all Rogers student activity days for the entire 2021-2022 school year! One entry limit per student
Any 8th Grade student who becomes a member (or returns a membership) will be entered into a drawing for 4 reserved front-row seats at 8th Grade Promotion! One entry limit per student
The 1st Period class with the highest percentage of memberships will receive an in-class party!
PTA thrives on several business partnerships that offer member discounts and benefits, including Hertz, Farm Fresh to You and Tick Talk. Go to http://www.capta.org for more information.

PTA’s goal for membership is one membership per student. Rogers currently has an enrollment of around 800 students. The count as of September 23rd shows that Rogers PTA has enrolled 436 total members! This includes 208 online members via TOTEM, PTA’s online membership portal. We are currently just over halfway to our goal! We are doing GREAT – in fact, we have already far surpassed our 2020-21 membership count! – but we have some more work to do!

Please remember that memberships must be renewed each year while at Rogers. Memberships are $10/member (new or renewal). Donations to Rogers PTA are also accepted throughout the year.

Hello Mustangs! We hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day holiday weekend and second week back on campus for the 2021-22 school year! PTA wishes to take a moment out for our first responders and heroes from the tragic events of 20 years ago tomorrow, September 11th. All gave some; some gave all.

PTA’s goal for membership is one membership per student. Rogers currently has an enrollment of around 850 students. The count as of September 2nd shows that Rogers PTA has enrolled 314 total members! This includes 94 online members via TOTEM, PTA’s online membership portal. We are currently at almost 40 percent of our goal. We are doing great – in fact, we have already far surpassed our 2020-21 membership count! – but we have some more work to do!

Please remember that memberships must be renewed each year while at Rogers. Memberships are $10/member (new or renewal). Donations to Rogers PTA are also accepted throughout the year.

PTA is back this week with more updates that hopefully help you to prepare for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year. Remember the First Day of School is NEXT WEEK, TUESDAY, AUGUST 31, 2021!

Rogers PTA Membership Drive is NOW thru OCTOBER 30th! A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out during TCB this past week and purchased sweatshirts, PE Uniforms, and/or renewed their PTA Membership! We see and appreciate you! 🙂

As mentioned at TCB, PTA is able to offer a few incentives for joining PTA during our Membership Drive this year!

Our goal for membership is one membership per student. Rogers currently has an enrollment of around 850 students. The count as of August 26th after TCB shows that Rogers PTA has enrolled 283 total members! This includes 85 online members via TOTEM, PTA’s online membership portal. We are currently at about 1/3 of our goal. We are doing great – in fact, we have already surpassed our 2020-21 membership count! – but we have some more work to do!

If you are driving or walking along the top of the bluff near the Nieto Ave./Vista St. entrance, you may have noticed something to go with the previously posted “Mustang” sign… yep, our “Rogers” cups-in-fence sign has arrived and is proudly displayed thanks to the help of some family volunteers who spent several hours to get this up during TCB earlier this week! UPDATED! Taking Care of Business (TCB) Days
NEXT WEEK August 24-26 Rogers will be hosting three “Taking Care of Business” (TCB) Days for all returning and new/incoming students. These events are where all students are welcomed onto campus and are able to complete specific “housekeeping” tasks in preparation for the first day of school, such as taking ID photos (this is also Fall Picture Day, provided by Lifetouch; see separate email from Lifetouch with more details on ordering photos), picking up books, purchasing spirit wear and PE Uniforms, and much more!
The schedule is as follows – INCLUDES TIMES with alpha-split as applicable:
Tues. August 24 7th Grade (A-L 9-10am; M-Z 10-11am)
Weds. August 25 8th Grade (A-L 9-10am; M-Z 10-11am)
Thurs. August 26 6th Grade (ALL STUDENTS 9am-12n)*
*6th Grade program: 9-10:30am, TCB; 1030am-12noon WEB Welcome/Campus Tours

Uniform Guidelines for 2021-2022 PTA is here with a heads-up regarding Rogers Uniform Guidelines. Below are the guidelines that will be provided and further detailed by Principal Wood in school communications and on the official school website by sometime next week.

The Rogers motto is Alive with Mustang Pride. The colors are red and black and our school mascot is the Mustang. All students are expected to dress in a professional manner.
⮚TOPS: Solid white collared shirt with sleeves; Rogers Spirit shirt. Sheer lace, see-through blouses, bare midriffs or low necklines are not permitted.
⮚ BOTTOMS: Solid black shorts, pants, jumpers, or skirts. Pants may be no more than two inches larger than the student’s waistline (no sagging). Shorts, jumpers, skirts, and skorts are to be an appropriate length, not to be shorter than mid-thigh. No sweat pants or nylon athletic shorts may be worn. No tears, holes, patches or ragged hems in clothes are permitted.
⮚ OUTERWEAR: Solid Rogers-red sweatshirts or sweaters may be worn over the collared or spirit shirt. A heavy coat that is not red may be worn outside when it is excessively cold or raining.
⮚ LOGO POLICY: All clothing must be logo free, except for the Rogers logo.
⮚ UNDER SHIRTS: Shirts worn under the collared shirt must be white.
Other Misc. Items:
⮚ Hats and other head coverings are not allowed.
⮚ Belts should not have initial buckles, studs, or wallet chains. Overalls or suspenders may not be worn.
⮚ Shoes must be appropriate for school activities with heels not to exceed 2 inches. No slippers, house shoes, slip-on or open-toed shoes are permitted.
⮚ College shirts may be worn on Fridays.
⮚ PE Uniform Policy TBA

PTA Membership Drive UPDATE Online membership is always open and available at TOTEM, a new way this year to get your memberships in a contact-free, safe, convenient, and fast transaction! Please help Rogers PTA meet its 1:1 annual goal for memberships: One membership per student.

Rogers Dining for Dollars Hiatus & Highlights | UPDATED FOR MAY While Rogers PTA has suspended its Dining for Dollars partnership fundraising program at this time, PTA would still would like to help spread the word about local business and community by featuring a business who has partnered with us in the past! Watch this space each issue of PTA news for this month’s highlighted partner. For May, we would like to feature Rubio’s (2nd Street/Belmont shore location). Thank you to Rubio’s for being such a loyal Rogers PTA partner!
